Sample answer to speak for 2 minutes

The number of days when I woke up at the crack of dawn has been few and far between. Also, starting my day at the first blush of sunlight is really challenging for me because I am not an early bird. I would consider myself more of a nocturnal being. In fact, my friends and family members call me a night owl. That said, there has been a couple of days that I could think of when I had to wake up in the wee hours. Here I would like to speak about one such day. This was the one following November 8, 2016, when our honorable Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi announced demonetization. It took me about 30 minutes to freshen up and get through my morning routine after waking up. After that, I left my residence on my bicycle. Fortunately for me, on that day the weather was a bit cold and not shivery. Soon I reached my destination and I was standing in a queue outside the bank just like my fellow Indian brothers and sisters to deposit the old currency notes. I only had about 4000 rupees, but they were all in 1000 denominations. Initially, I was feeling a bit sleepy. But then, as my day progressed, I got to be a part of a group discussion where people in the queue were expressing their point of view on demonetization being a bold and impactful decision for the Indian economy. The individuals in this group praised his leadership skills and his ability to take quick decisions. The consensus was that he is a visionary leader. Anyways, it took me about 5 hours to deposit my money and by the time I reached my home, I had mixed feelings. On the one hand, I was feeling exhausted while on the other I felt that I had accomplished a mammoth of task since I no longer had to worry about my old currency notes. The one thing that I still remember from that day is the serenity and stillness that I experienced before the world fully stirs.
